Melissa Stevens I obtained my first bachelor degree in Corporate Management (specialization in Marketing) in the capital city of Europe, Brussels! During my studies I got the opportunity to follow an international internship at a renowned communication and advertising agency, C’est Carré, in France. I enjoyed working there, because of the creative, inspiring and professional environment. Of course, living abroad on my own was quite an experience as well. Last summer I obtained my second degree in Advanced Business Management in the most famous student city of Belgium, Leuven! Whilst studying hard and enjoying the great nightlife in the city, I again gained usefull academical knowledge in the field of Marketing Communication. During that year I performed a second internship, however this time I was working for a multinational FMCG company, Sara Lee. During this internship I was confronted with the other side of the marketing branch since I had to work directly with advertising agencies to create and develop marketing campaigns, compared to my first internship. While studying Advertising and Marketing at the Coventry University, I am seeing things from another perspective once more.
Bert Callens Hello everybody. My name is Bert Callens and I'm a Marketing Student. I've studied four years in Leuven, Belgium, and this year I will be finishing my Masters in Coventry University. I've done an internship in an interactive agency in Belgium called Boondoggle and last year I've made a marketing-plan for a small company. Two years ago I went to do an international business game in Italy and Switzerland. Last year I had the chance to participate in the NIBS (Network of International Business Schools) Case competition. Creative advertising campaigns is what interests me the most and hopefully some day I will be a part of it.
Jeroen Costermans Hello everybody! My name is Jeroen. I studied Marketing-communication for 4 years at the KHLeuven in Belgium. That’s how I received my bachelor after bachelor diploma. This diploma brought me the opportunity to continue my studies (master diploma) at the Coventry University in the UK. Marketing–Advertising was my final choice, because I really wanted to learn more about marketing, because it is such a widespread subject. Especially the creative part of marketing seemed really interesting to me. That’s why I chose advertising as the second part of my studies. Going to the UK is not only important for my studies, but it is also very important for me to meet new people (with other nationalities), get to know more about their culture etc. Of course is living in another country also a whole new experience for me. I’m a very open person, I like having fun with my friends and just enjoy every single day of my life. That’s why there is no better proverb than ‘Carpe diem’ to end this description of myself. |
